Ministry and Health Disclaimer
Outdoor Crusade provides Christian discipleship and educational resources. This page explains the ministry’s medical, counseling, mental-health, safety, and professional-care boundaries.
The Outdoor Crusade website, 40-Day Reset Journey, and Group Leader resources are designed for Christian discipleship, education, prayer, reflection, and practical encouragement.
They are not a substitute for medical care, mental-health treatment, professional counseling, emergency support, or other qualified professional services.
Christian Discipleship and Educational Purpose
Outdoor Crusade is a Christian discipleship ministry. Its resources may include Scripture, devotionals, prayer prompts, reflection questions, journaling, practical daily actions, habit-related education, time in God’s creation, group discussions, and leader guidance.
The ministry’s purpose is to encourage believers to seek God, listen to His Word, pray honestly, and take appropriate faithful steps in daily life.
The resources are general in nature and are not individually designed for every person’s medical history, mental health, physical ability, trauma history, family situation, or other special circumstances.
No Medical Advice or Treatment
The website and apps do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, disease management, or medical monitoring.
Outdoor Crusade does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical or psychological conditions.
References to healthy habits, physical activity, sleep, nutrition, stress, attention, outdoor time, or behavior change are provided for general discipleship and educational purposes.
Ask a qualified healthcare professional whether an activity or change is appropriate for your health, medications, physical condition, mobility, pregnancy, recovery, or other circumstances.
No Mental-Health Treatment or Professional Counseling
Outdoor Crusade does not provide psychotherapy, clinical assessment, trauma treatment, addiction treatment, professional counseling, marriage therapy, psychiatric services, or mental-health diagnosis.
Prayer, Scripture, Christian fellowship, pastoral encouragement, and honest reflection can be meaningful parts of a believer’s life. They should not be presented as a reason to avoid qualified mental-health or medical care when that care is needed.
A participant experiencing significant depression, anxiety, trauma symptoms, substance-use concerns, disordered eating, self-harm, suicidal thinking, abuse, or another serious concern should seek qualified professional support.
Emergencies and Crisis Situations
Do not use the website, apps, contact form, prayer log, or group meeting as an emergency or crisis service.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service in your location. Follow local law, mandatory-reporting requirements, and established church or organizational safety policies.
Messages sent through the Outdoor Crusade contact form or email may not be read immediately and are not monitored as a crisis hotline.
Do not delay emergency help while waiting for a reply from Outdoor Crusade, a group leader, or another participant.
Do Not Delay or Change Professional Treatment
Do not use Outdoor Crusade content to delay, avoid, discontinue, or replace necessary medical, psychological, psychiatric, addiction, trauma, or counseling care.
Do not begin, stop, reduce, increase, or change a prescription medication or treatment plan based only on something read in the website, app, workbook, group discussion, or devotional.
Questions about treatment, medication, symptoms, diagnosis, or physical limitations should be directed to an appropriately qualified professional.
No Guaranteed Results
Participation in the 40-Day Reset Journey does not guarantee a specific spiritual, emotional, mental, relational, physical, medical, financial, or behavioral result.
Outdoor Crusade does not promise guaranteed transformation, healing, weight loss, happiness, freedom from symptoms, improved relationships, stronger faith, or permanent habit change.
Results and experiences vary because every participant has different circumstances, choices, abilities, health needs, support systems, and responses.
Outdoor Crusade faithfully provides Christian discipleship resources. The ministry does not control or guarantee an individual participant’s outcome.
Scripture and Supporting Research
Scripture is Outdoor Crusade’s foundation and final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian life.
The ministry may refer generally to established research concerning habits, attention, behavior, stress, physical activity, outdoor time, or related subjects.
Research is used only to help explain or support practical elements of the journey. It is not presented as equal to or above Scripture.
Outdoor Crusade does not describe the 40-Day Reset as “scientifically proven” and does not represent general research as proof that every participant will receive a particular result.
Not a Replacement for the Local Church
Outdoor Crusade is a parachurch discipleship ministry. It is not a church and does not replace participation in a faithful local congregation.
The website and apps do not replace biblical preaching, corporate worship, Christian fellowship, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, pastoral care, church discipline, accountability, or service within the local church.
Participants are encouraged to seek guidance from qualified pastoral leaders when dealing with theological, spiritual, family, or church-related concerns.
Outdoor Activity and Physical Safety
The journey may encourage intentional time outside or other practical activities. Every outdoor or physical activity must be adapted to the participant’s circumstances.
Consider factors including:
- Weather and temperature.
- Storms, lightning, flooding, ice, heat, or poor air quality.
- Terrain, traffic, water, wildlife, and environmental hazards.
- Physical ability, balance, mobility, and current health.
- Medication effects and professional medical restrictions.
- Appropriate clothing, hydration, visibility, and equipment.
- Whether another responsible person should be present.
- Local rules, property boundaries, and access restrictions.
Participants should remain indoors or choose a safer alternative when outdoor conditions are unsafe or inappropriate.
Intentional time with God can occur indoors. Going outside is not a requirement when health, mobility, weather, location, or safety makes it unwise.
Group Leader Boundaries
The Group Leader app provides Christian discipleship guidance. It does not train, certify, license, or authorize a leader to provide medical treatment, therapy, clinical counseling, diagnosis, addiction treatment, trauma treatment, or crisis care.
Group leaders should:
- Keep Scripture central.
- Protect confidentiality while explaining its lawful limits.
- Avoid forcing participants to disclose private information.
- Never promise a specific outcome.
- Stay within their training and ministry role.
- Encourage qualified pastoral or professional care when needed.
- Follow local law and applicable mandatory-reporting requirements.
- Use emergency services when there is immediate danger.
A leader should not attempt to personally manage a situation that exceeds the purpose or ability of a discipleship group.
Children, Teenagers, and Families
Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether and how a child or teenager participates in Outdoor Crusade resources.
Families should adapt devotionals, discussions, reflection questions, outdoor activities, and group expectations according to age, maturity, physical ability, emotional needs, weather, location, and safety.
A child should not be pressured to disclose private information in a group setting.
When a minor may be experiencing abuse, neglect, self-harm, danger, or another serious concern, adults should follow applicable law, reporting requirements, and appropriate safety procedures.
Testimonies and Personal Experiences
A testimony or founder story describes an individual person’s experience. It is not a clinical study, medical claim, or guarantee that another person will have the same experience.
Personal stories may be used to encourage believers, explain why the ministry exists, or describe how someone applied the discipleship process.
Participants should not compare their progress with another person or assume that a different result means they have failed spiritually.
Personal Responsibility
Participants are responsible for evaluating their own circumstances, using reasonable judgment, following qualified professional guidance, and choosing activities appropriate for their health and safety.
Participation is voluntary. A participant may pause, modify, or discontinue an activity when it is unsafe, harmful, inappropriate, or beyond that person’s circumstances.
Using the website or apps does not transfer responsibility for personal decisions, professional care, group supervision, or emergency action to Outdoor Crusade.
