You trusted Jesus. Now learn to follow Him.
THE WAY is a free discipleship app created to help new Christians learn the Bible, understand the foundations of their faith, build daily spiritual habits, and begin a lifetime of following Christ.
THE WAY
An Outdoor Crusade discipleship resource
What do I do now?
Someone can trust Jesus Christ and still have a lot of questions about what comes next. THE WAY provides a clear biblical place to begin without assuming a new believer already understands Christian terminology or knows how to navigate the Bible.
- ✓Tell someone that you have trusted Jesus Christ.
- ✓Begin talking honestly with God through prayer.
- ✓Start reading the Bible for yourself.
- ✓Find a faithful local church.
- ✓Talk with a pastor about baptism.
- ✓Begin THE WAY one step at a time.
Required Bible Basics Lessons Before Day 1
Before THE WAY asks a new Christian to regularly open Scripture, it teaches the basics of how the Bible works and how to find the passages used throughout the journey.
Bible Basics must be completed in order before Day 1 unlocks.
Learn how to use the Bible before the journey begins.
THE WAY does not want participants to become dependent on an app for their Bible knowledge. Bible Basics prepares them to open Scripture for themselves and continue learning long after the 40-day journey is complete.
- What the Bible is
- One Bible, 66 books
- Old and New Testaments
- The books of the Bible
- The four Gospels
- Books, chapters, and verses
- Finding Scripture
- Printed Bible or Bible app
- Bible translations
- Reading in context
- How to read a passage
- What to do when confused
A biblical foundation, one day at a time.
The journey is intentionally sequential. Each day unlocks as the previous day is completed, helping the participant move through a connected introduction to Christian belief and Christian living instead of a collection of unrelated devotionals.
What Happened When I Was Saved?
Grace, sin, the cross, the resurrection, and your new identity in Christ.
Knowing God
God as Creator, His holiness, His love and justice, God as Father, and the Trinity.
Knowing Jesus
Who Jesus is, His sinless life, His teaching, salvation through Christ, and His Lordship.
Understanding Your New Life
Assurance, grace and works, sin after salvation, spiritual growth, and the Holy Spirit.
Walking With God
Prayer, learning to pray, worship, biblical guidance, and what to do with doubts.
Living Like Jesus
Loving God, loving people, forgiveness, temptation, and a growing life of obedience.
You Are Part of the Church
Christian fellowship, choosing a church, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, serving, and giving.
Your Mission Begins
Your testimony, sharing Jesus, perseverance, Christian hope, and lifelong discipleship.
Built to be simple for someone who is just beginning.
The interface stays focused on the next step. Home, the 40-Day Journey, Bible Basics, the private Journal, and the Question Library are easy to reach, while progress, installation, backup, restore, and settings stay available without cluttering the experience.

Every day teaches, applies, and points back to Scripture.
The daily format remains familiar from Day 1 through Day 40 so the participant can focus on learning rather than figuring out a new format each day.
Open Your Bible
Each day begins with a specific passage to find and read in Scripture.
Learn
A clear teaching section explains the day’s biblical truth in understandable language.

Someone trusted Christ. Give them a place to begin.
Pastors, church leaders, Sunday school teachers, parents, friends, and other believers can share THE WAY immediately after someone trusts Christ—without requiring the new believer to create an account.
THE WAY does not replace the local church or personal discipleship. It helps a new believer begin reading Scripture, asking good questions, and taking biblical next steps while becoming connected to God’s people.
About THE WAY.

The app is designed as a sequential discipleship journey. Each day unlocks as the previous day is completed so the teaching develops in its intended order.
Is my journal private?

Can I move my progress to another device?
Yes. THE WAY includes backup and restore. Export a backup file from one browser and restore it on another supported device or browser.
Does THE WAY work offline?

Does THE WAY replace church?
No. THE WAY intentionally teaches new believers that they need a faithful local church, baptism, Christian fellowship, biblical teaching, service, and relationships with mature believers.
What happens after Day 40?
Day 40 is a commissioning, not a graduation. The participant is encouraged to continue reading Scripture, praying, participating in church, serving, sharing the Gospel, and following Jesus for a lifetime.
You trusted Jesus. Now learn to follow Him.
Start with Bible Basics. Open God’s Word. Take one day at a time. THE WAY was built to help a new follower of Jesus begin with a clear biblical foundation and continue into a lifetime of discipleship.
