Statement of Faith

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for Christian faith, doctrine, and life.

God

We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return.

Humanity and Sin

We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses dignity and value. We also believe all people are affected by sin and need reconciliation with God.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by human effort or good works.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, brings new life, lives within believers, and empowers Christians to grow in holiness and faithful obedience.

Discipleship

We believe followers of Jesus are called to grow in their knowledge of God, obey His Word, pray, love others, serve faithfully, and become more like Christ.

Prayer

We believe prayer is an essential part of the believer’s relationship with God and should be practiced with faith, humility, honesty, and submission to His will.

The Church

We believe the local church is God’s ordained community for worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, service, accountability, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.

Christ’s Return and Eternal Life

We believe Jesus Christ will return and that all people will stand before God. Those who belong to Christ will enjoy eternal life with Him.

Outdoor Crusade exists to support Christian discipleship and encourage believers to participate faithfully in a biblical local church.
